Natural Birth

On October 5th I had a appointment (39 weeks & 5 days) and I had my membranes stripped, when I got checked I was 30% effaced and 1cm. Afterwards I felt nothing until the next day around 8pm and I felt tightening and a dull pain (less than a period). My whole pregnancy I didn’t have any Braxton Hicks so thats what I thought it was. I had them all night and I timed them and the tightening and when it started to get 3 minutes apart we waited an hour to see if it would continue and it did so we went to the hospital. I still didn’t want to go but my mom insisted that I go and get checked and plus my hospital is 45 minutes away. When we got to the hospital around 4am Sunday 10/5 I was already at a 5. And about 45 minutes after we got there we finally got in a room and around 7 I was walking around the room talking to my fiancé and my water broke (right in my moms cup🙈 lol) and they came and checked me and I was at a 9. The nurse went to get the doctor and get everything ready. They came back in and I was at a 10 and I started to push and she was here at 8:11 am with only 3 pushes.

I only had what felt like a dull cramp in my back and nothing in my stomach besides I felt it get tight every time I had the ‘cramp’. I honestly went in there expecting it to be horrible but it was WAY better! Just don’t psych yourself out or hesitate to go because you don’t think it is the actual thing because I totally did and my doctor said if I would of waited I might of had her on the interstate.
