Painful sex

I’ve had a flashing smiley on the clearblue digital tests for two days. Tonight while BDing I had horrible pain. My cervix, ovaries, and lower abdomen, all hurt. A throbbing pain, like being punched with every thrust. 😱 we continued because I don’t want to miss the chance to conceive and towards the end the pain was unbearable and I started cramping. Is this normal? Could this be a sign of ovulation? I thought I was going to cry from the pain. I have never had this happen.
