Homemade Kombucha fine for me/baby?

Not drinking loads of it at a time, am just wondering if it's "safe" to drink this during pregnancy? Google is vague about this topic

During pregnancy I’d pass on the homemade kombucha. (I also make my own). During this time I just use store bought. It’s prepared in a more controlled environment, so I trust it a bit more. 
I bring kombucha to family gatherings when everyone is drinking so I can have a nice fizzly, fermented drink.

my midwife was very approving of kombucha during pregnancy. she discouraged over drinking it but having a glass or two throughout the day was going to help my tummy troubles. I'm not sure about homemade but if you trust it, id say you're in the clear!

I personally wouldn’t. It’s filled with bacteria, hopefully good bacteria, but it’s impossible to tell if something harmful started growing. I love kombucha but I’m relying on probiotics while I’m pregnant.
