I’ve had my IUD since March so my period are pretty irregular but my last one ended about a week and a half ago and I take home pregnancy tests every couple months just in case.

The other night at my husband’s work’s Christmas party I had sudden severe pain in my right lower abdomen by my hip and severe cramps in my lower back. We left ASAP because it was making me nauseous but the pain died down.

Last night/this morning I woke up with the same pain but worse to the point I was crying. I decided not to go to the ER because we can’t afford it and I wanted to give it an hour and if I was still in pain, I’d cave in and go.

Worst case scenario I could have appendicitis or an ectopic pregnancy which can mimic appendicitis, I took a pregnancy test maybe a little less than a month ago and got my period shortly after so I can probably rule out pregnancy right?

If the pain reoccurs again, I’ll go to urgent care or the ER depending on which is available.
