Just wondering..... What is your relationship like with your mother?

Is the kind that’s nurturing and caring and always there for you? Or the kind that guilt trips you every time you make a mistake in your life? Or does she do both just to hide her manipulative ways and sometimes makes her needs and wants more important than your own?...... just curious

My mom is trash and I haven’t spoke to her in 20 years, I sincerely hope she’s dead.

My egg donor is a piece of trash. She has never supported any decision ive made in life, doesn't encourage me, talks down to me like I'm stupid. I can't even ask her a question about anything in life without her answer being "figure it out on your own" or  "you're 28 you should already know". a majority of my life she always told me I was fat and needed to lose weight because boys wouldn't like me. she tries to control what I do with MY money that I WORK for. she guilt trips me about everything and brings up my past failed marriage when we fight. a week ago she told me to go live in the ghetto projects because I'm not going to amount to anything in life because I work retail and that she never wanted kids. No bullshit, the shit that comes out of her mouth makes people's jaw drop. she's a terrible person, I hate her, she could die tomorrow and I wouldn't care 🤷🏼‍♀️✌🏼

My mom has a great heart and I know means well but damn she can be harsh and super manipulating when she doesn’t get her way. I understand she has had her personal issues herself growing up so I make the choice to overlook her crazy. I love her and she tries.

My mom really tries to be a good mother but she’s just way too controlling, manipulative, and wants me to live my life her way. We don’t have good communication. I just tell them whatever they want to hear bc being honest never worked and they judge me and disagree with me no matter what

My mom is amazing. So supportive, even if she doesn't agree with it. Loves my kids to no end. Welcomed my husband as if he was her own blood. My mil is complete opposite.

My mom is a scam artist grifter that steals money. She borrowed so much $ from me promising to pay it back, and I got slapped with an eviction notice on my highly desirable apt in Los Angeles. I saved my apartment and i haven't spoken to her in a year and a half. Best time I've ever had in my life. I haven't spoken to my dad in 8 years. I dont speak to any member of my family. I removed my tubes so they dont have to worry about grand kids

My mom and I... our relationship is strained to say the least. It’s though because it’s equally mine and her fault. I love my mom I do. She’s great she cares a lot about me and my sister my so and my sister so. She also drives me BONKERS. 
Now most of the tension is because my mom has always treated my sister with “kid gloves” she paid her rent while my sister got kicked out of college and lived in NYC for 10+ years. Now my sister and her SO moved back here to live with my parents. My mom often holds me responsible for issues between my sister and I - even when she’s as much at fault or I did nothing. It’s very stressful to constantly be told it’s your fault even when you e done nothing. So on my part there’s a lot of jealousy and unfairness that has left me quick to anger when it comes to my mom.
Because of my moms desire to cater to my sister it’s left me out a lot. Last year I was uninvited to family holidays dinners get together and again because my sister is back again after returning from a 6month trip I am again left out of things or invited to come only when she’s not around. 
My mom can be so caring and sweet and nurturing but she can also be hurtful.

My mom was wonderful! She was nurturing and kind and always on my side. She was able to make me smile and her hugs could cure anything! 
Sadly, she passed away a couple years ago. If you're lucky enough to still have your mom please, please cherish every moment with her!
