I heard that over 140 is a girl and under is a boy. With my daughter her bpm were 140-150. So far this baby is 169 at 8 weeks.

I’m not sure if it’s accurate but I can say it was correct for my son. His ranged between 130-142 each time we’d have an ultrasound.

Baby’s heartbeat is the highest at 10 Weeks I believe, so once it goes back down a little and settles, I think you could to this old wives tale a little better! Maybe after 12ish weeks!
