Birth control methods while breastfeeding?

are there any unsafe birth control methods while breastfeeding? Will anything hurt my supply? What’s my best option?

IUDs haven't worked out for me I've had 2 and my body just doesnt like them. So my OB suggested the mini pill. Then when I'm done breastfeeding the reg pill.

I took the mini pill! It’s estrogen free! So are iuds!

I used the mini pill for two years. Had no issues, just have to make sure you take it reliably at exactly the same time each day. Successfully breastfed my daughter the entire time.

You’ll want to avoid anything with estrogen since that’s what affects milk production. Anything else would be fine. I personally have a hormonal IUD (Liletta) and haven’t had any issues with my supply.
