Uk mummies! How many pregnancy/ midwife appointments did you get?

Question

I had my 20 week scan this week (without midwives afterwards) but I'm not due to go back to the hospital until I'm 28 weeks, for a GTT (glucose tolerance test).
The only other appointment scheduled for the entirety of my pregnancy is an extra scan at 29 weeks because I signed up for a medical trial they are doing which offered a free scan.  
Is this normal to have such little contact with the midwives and so few appointments?

I rang the hospital.  They wanted me to ring my GP, who wanted me to ring the hospital closest to me.  (Not the hospital I had my scans in or I'll give birth in) 
I've now got booked in for my next appointment 🎉
I still don't know my appointment schedule, they said each future appointment will be based on the previous 🤷‍♀️. 
But I'm glad that I still have midwives to see and people to answer any questions.

You usually get them at 
8-10 weeks
16 weeks
24weeks
28weeks
32weeks
Then every week to 2 weeks until you deliver x

It depends, I was constantly over looked by consultants, midwives, scans & monitoring I was high risk pregnancy for many reasons, so that’s why It seemed that i was constantly at appointments

The schedule can be found in your hand held notes. It will be slightly fewer for low risk second time mums x

I’m 17 weeks and I’ve only had 1 with midwives going through all my bloods and urine, 12 weeks with the hospital for my scan, 16 weeks to receive my pregnancy notes. I’ve another 2 rescheduled for 20 weeks for my big scan, 28 weeks with the midwives I’m assuming for a check up and that’s all I know so far 😊

I have my 2nd midife app on the 27th for 16weeks. But was told due to being high risk i will be seeing her more and will have more scans etc

Apart from my scans, I’ve had three midwife appointments - last one at 25 weeks. I have one at 28 weeks, then it’s supposed to be 31 and 34, then 36, 38 and 40 as far as I can tell from my schedule. Though some of these can be done through your GP if you prefer.

I’m only seeing my midwife for the first time next week at 12+5.
Have had one private scan at 7weeks, then NHS scans at 8,9 & 10 weeks for bleeding and complications. 
Have a private scan booked at the hospital for 12+4 as we don’t want the screening and have already been dated.
Had a miscarriage in August and lost one of the twins from current pregnancy so even waiting a week or two weeks for another scan is really hard as not sure what’s going on.
Midwives have been very relaxed at getting hold of me and getting things going - assuming that’s because no one was holding out much hope I would still be pregnant by this point.
Roughly isn’t once a month from 12weeks they see you then more in the final weeks?

After the 20 week scan I have midwife appointments at 24, 28, 31, 34, 36, 38 and 40 weeks. This is for a first baby. You get fewer for ant following pregnancies I believe.

I had only 3 with my first pregnancy, 6 weeks 12 weeks and 20 weeks that’s it. It is normal if everything is progressing as it should be.
