What's your favorite first with a new SO?

There's those moments when you're just starting seeing someone- like really dating, not just hooking up- when you just feel like you have a connection, and there's all these little romantic moments, all these little firsts. Which one is your favorite?

The first time we met he slept in my room (we were having a movie night with new friends the first weekend of college). He slept in my bed. We didn’t hook up but made out. Before any of that, he was laying in my bed and I said “I guess I’ll sit on the floor”. He said in the most fuck boy way “there’s room for us both”. I’m here thinking this guy just wants to smash but he would t even cuddle me! I scooted closer and he still was keeping to himself. He finally got uncomfy and asked quietly “would it be okay if I put my arm around you..? I’m just not comfortable.” He just kept asking permission for every tiny thing. Things obviously heated up and from there on we have been inseparable. A year after that I found out I was his first kiss, girlfriend, took his virginity, first EVERYTHING. No wonder why he was so nervous and sweet. He made it seem like he was dtf the first night we ever met haha.

My now husband and I were friends. And just barely started hanging out one on one. Never went on a date yet. We went to see Niagara Falls, not as an official date though (we lived nearby, I had only been living  in the area for a few months and had never gone) and it was January so icy and snowy. I kept slipping on the ice and he said “you can hold my hand if you want” and the dumba** I am said “no I’ll be fine”.... I slipped again and well, I held his hand for the entire rest of the time. 😍😍😍😍 a few days later I told him I liked him, we then had our first kiss. A few days later he asked me to be his gf. A week later he said I love you. 18 days later, he proposed! 4 months later we got married and had sex on our wedding night for the first time! And here we are nearly 3 years later with a baby girl and another due in 4 months! It went so quick, and neither one of us are ones to rush dating or anything! But it was just right. He was just IT ❤️

My first kiss with my hubs lasted hours. Literally. I have no idea how long it lasted. I was staying the night at my dads house, and my brother had his friend over who’d brought HIS friend (my husband) everyone was asleep and we were watching tv. The buildup was slow and so was the moment our lips touched. Then somehow it turned into him on top of me getting very hot and heavy, but we were fully clothed and still only kissing. It seemed like we’d never get tired of kissing. What had to be like 2-3 hours later we realized my brothers friend had been awake like the. Whole. Time. So we finally stopped and went to sleep. The next morning our lips were chapped like you’d never believe 😂😂 we were 16

Hand holding. My favourite thing ever. We can be watching a movie sprawled on the couch and part way through he'll just lean over and hold my hand and act like it's no big deal but my hands are always cold and his are always super hot so it's very comforting when he holds my hands. Also makes him mad I'm so icy, so sometimes if he catches a feel of my fingers he holds both of them in his hands to warm them up because its "unacceptable" that they're cold. It's a very subtle way to show someone you care without being over the top.

My favorite was our first kiss. We were hiking in the mountains on our first real date, and we climbed up a tree to get a better view of the river. There was a peaceful pause as we just watched the view for a couple minutes. (Also- how crazy is it that we were comfortable in silence on the first date?!) Eventually I put my hand on his, he looked over, and I kissed him. 😘 He was all sputtery and blushing and I hugged him. Then he said softly “I wanted to do that first, damn it.” 😂
Three years later, we’re due in February with our first baby and we’ve moved across the country together! He’s taken in my dog as his own daughter, he’s brought me home two kittens, we’re in our third home together, and I wouldn’t ever want anybody else.

First kiss. We had met online and set up a date to meet in person. We went to a pizza bar after I got off work. We ate pizza and was flirting at the table. He said some cheesy line that I forget now and then said “let me change this” and leaned in and kissed me right in the busy restaurant. It was super cute and I’m not one for PDA at all! We’ve been together almost a year and shopping for engagement rings 😍

Definitely our first kiss. I'll never forget it. We weren't officially dating yet, and we worked together, AND I was going through a divorce (was separated). There was obviously sexual tension between us and we flirted constantly but never did anything. One day he was in my office and we were hardcore flirting and he said something like, "if you don't stop, I'm gonna close this door" and I just said "DO IT!" without really thinking lol... so he did and he kissed me sooo passionately while I was still sitting in my office chair 😂 I eventually stood up while we still were kissing and at some point he pushed me up against a wall, at a pinned above my head... needless to say, it was my best first kiss ever! 
Oh, and we only stopped because my office mate walked in lmao

just the first time we touched at all honestly. we matched on tinder (lol no shame) whole he was on vacation where i was living, we clicked immediately but we never got the chance to meet before he went back home. we talked and texted non stop until he convinced me to fly to pittsburgh where he’s from to visit him, our first time touching was when he picked me up from the airport and my heart skipped a million beats I was so infatuated with him. I had never felt so comfortable and close with someone ever before him. I knew I wanted to be with him forever from the very beginning, many months and many flights and many visits later WE JUST MOVED IN TOGETHER!! he’s the man of my dreams and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
