My son (15 months) loves going outside to walk and run around but he does not grab my hand at all and tries to run over to the street. Whenever I try to hold his hand he gets mad at me and starts crying which makes us go back inside the house. I find that the best way is for me to buy the backpacks with the leash so my son can walk around freely and at the same time I can i know my son is safe and i feel in control. I know that those backpacks cause a lot controversy and after a lot of parents got bashed for it, I’ve rarely seen a toddler with those types of backpacks. I find that it’s the best way for my son and I to go on walks so I will get one asap. I’m just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this?? I feel like I’m going to get criticized for it when in public but it’s seems like the best solution for my son and I
