Hey guys,

I’m here because I want to discuss a few things with you guys in regards to college. So last year I earned a D in a math class and I just ended with a 69.99 in my chemistry class and my professor refuses to curve it to a C. I recently changed my major for the second time after realizing that anything medically related is not for me. I now have two Ds on my transcript for two classes completely unrelated to my major (Criminal Justice) I’m really putting myself down because of how that D will effect my GPA. I’m feeling extremely discouraged about going to grad school and feeling extremely sad. Chemistry & math are not my forte but I thought if I pushed through it and worked my ass off I would get the grades I wanted (Sadly, that’s not the case.) I went to tutoring, professor’s office hours, studied hours, and even studied with others. I just don’t understand I tried so hard I never went out. I studied at least 4-5 days in advance and just still was confused. I know I’m not stupid, but I can’t help but to feel so fucking stupid. It’s only my second year of college and I’m determined to make criminal justice work since it has more classes that I can take that are MUCH more interesting than biology pre-med and health science were. Do you think that i still have a shot at grad school even with those two Ds? Like I said, I don’t need them for my current major now.
