I know this is gross but I’m just so confused. Since starting the birth control pill, I’ve had an increase in discharge. Like, to the point where it can feel like I wet myself. My doctor told me that it was completely normal. But now...I’ve noticed a smell? It’s not fishy, not yeasty, it’s just a weird smell and it’s very strong. I was tested for an infection and everything came back normal. Could the smell also be caused by birth control? I’m getting really self conscious about it because I have a new man in my life. We haven’t done anything sexual yet, mostly because I’m nervous he’ll say something about the smell. Any tips on how to fix this or what could be causing it?
