what do you think is the right age to start wearing tampons? i’m 13 and i wear pads bc my day 1-3 flow is pretty heavy and tampons scare me lol. but when do you think i should start wearing them?

I’m 23 and I never really used tampons. There isn’t an unspoken rule that you’re supposed to start using them at any age. Personally, I never liked them

I used to have really bad reactions to pads when I first started my period. I was 9, so I used them when I turned 10. It’s not going to take your virginity or anything. I’d say talk to your mom and ask her to consult a doctor.

I'm 14 and using tampons is great! You can go swimming and get to be more active. It may be uncomfortable at first but once you start doing it it will be fine.
