What’s everyone planning to do?

So what is the thought on diapering your baby? Are you going with disposables or cloth?

Cloth for us! We have a stash of about 100 right now I will just need to stock up on newborn size cause we started when my youngest was 5 months and he is almost 2 now

Wish there was a diaper service where I live. Would rather pay for that then use disposables, but with both parents working i don’t think we can juggle cloth.

I started cloth diapering my son when he was 8 months and it’s pretty awesome! I’d like to cloth diaper the new baby too and this time from the start. But let’s see, if newborn poops discourage me I might start later again :)

Cloth gets easier the older they get. Even using 1 cloth nappy a day is 365 nappies NOT going to landfill. I know cloth nappies are seen as hard to use but they really aren't. Modern cloth nappies are just like disposables to put on. If you breastfeeding, the nappy can go straight in the wash too. If you are on the fence, I really recommend "Cloth nappies down under" website or on Facebook for how to deal with the laundry and get clean nappies everytime. It is such a simple way to save lots of money and reduce landfill. Nappies have a horrendous impact on the environment, both disposal and manufacturing. Just give it a try ❤️

I love cloth. I have about 40 diapers for my 14 month old and wash every 3 days. I'll probably buy a few more before next baby is born, since I have no idea when my daughter will be potty trained.
We were gifted disposables so I used them while I was recovering from my c section, and then I used them just at night until I ran out.

With my first we started cloth once she was around 4-6 weeks old. It was nice not to mess with them at the beginning! We still always have a pack of disposable on hand for when we are going to be out all day so I don’t have to carry a bunch of messy diapers around. We also put her in a nighttime diaper at night because the amount of inserts I was having to stuff in to get her through the 11- 12 hours she sleeps looked uncomfortable!

I’ve always done disposable diapers but for this baby we want to try cloth!!

I really wanted to do cloth with our first, but I had a debilitating complication last time and was on pain killers and I was not even in the headspace to research cloth diapering. And we always said we’d at least do it with our second child....but with birthing two children in under a year’s time..I again don’t see that I’ll have time to learn up and execute cloth diapering.
