My water broke at 4am (I wasnt sure if it had happened becuase I was on the toilet) and not 15 minutes later my contractions were 2 min apart. We got to the midwifery at 5:30am and I spent a few minutes in the hot tub, then moved to the edge of the bed. I shifted positions and asked for luaghing gas. Before it arrived I felt pressure on my bottom and it was all pushing from there. I screamed as loud as I could into the gas mask and he was out before 9am. He has lots of fluid in his throat that needed to be hosed, but he was in my arms a few minutes later and healthy as can be. No stitches or tears. I was up and walking not one hour later. My recovery has been incredible and speedy.
