Can travel during 5 weeks pregnancy?

My flight will be 3 hours. I bought the ticket before I knew I was pregnant. Please share your thoughts girlies!!

It may be uncomfortable if you still experiencing nausea. You may also feel nauseous from smells on plane or by food. Just came from a trip. 9 weeks pregnant. On return flight someone ate a sandwich and caused me to feel nauseous luckily I had sprite to ease the nausea.

I travelled in the first trimester, definitely make sure you drink a lot of water! Also my Dr recommended compression socks which have now come in handy at 21 weeks as well (good investment hehe).

I did and was just fine! I would make sure to have a throw up bag. I was never nauseous, but during one ascend I got super sick out of nowhere. Also something to think about it asking for a pat down instead of going through the machines in security. They say it’s fine, but I felt more comfortable knowing my baby wasn’t exposed to anything. And the pat down is super quick and easy! Good luck mama!

I had almost this exact same question 2 months ago. The short answer is as long as you are not high risk you and your baby will be just fine! 
We had an extensive vacation planned before we found out we were expecting. There was 7 flights all in and two of those flights were over 9 overs long. Just make sure that you regularly get up to stretch in order to prevent blood clots, also I would suggest wearing some compression socks as well.
