Took my daughter for her 9 month check up yesterday. Shes 11 months almost 1, im a little behind due to rescheduling. So the doctor asks me if i still breastfeed my daughter. I said yes and his response was "Oh no too much breastmilk is bad, it can cause anemia after one!" I told him, she also eats 3 meals a day with snacks. His answer was" it doesnt matter she needs to start drinking cows milk, shes needs to start getting all that protien and iron" i was a little upset, because hes asking me to completly stop breastfeeding her, when i can still provide for her. Isnt breastmilk good for them until the age of 2?? Ughh he just made me feel, like im not feeding her right. Am i over reacting or should i change doctors??😕
