During work I noticed a horrible smell coming from my private area and I knew it was BV. I went to my gynaecologist and confirmed with her and did the 7 day treatment with Canesten. After the 7 days were over , my discharge looked like cottage cheese indicating to me that it became a yeast infection. The discharge has stopped and now I still have BV. The smell is horrible that I can smell it through my pants still. Today my period came ... I feel like this will clear it or make it worse . This has been my first time having BV and I did have sex which I know is gross but I had finished my treatment and thought was okay. My boyfriend didn’t really care about it and I warned him that I may still have it. He still wanted it but now I told him we cant have sex unless this is cleared and that we both get tested. He could also smell it during sex but he said it wasn’t bad (he is nasty) and had sex with me 3 times.

If the medication does not work, what else can I do? I have been have recurrent yeast infections and its stressing me out . I havnt been able to take part in oral sex cause I am always infected these days .. could it be my partner? I will go to doctor ASAP to get more medications.
