I need camera help- do you take baby pics?

I’m a ftm and will absolutely be that mom that takes tons of photos of my baby all the time. I love photos, scrabbooking and all that. 
I want a camera for Christmas. 
I have an iPhone 6s. But I don’t want to use my iPhone as a camera. It’s always on low battery and there is no way I’ll have enough storage for what I want. 
I’m looking for a camera under 200 
I am looking at the cannon Elph 190 
I like the cannon hx300 
Butt idk I also want crisp video. 
Any advice? Do you use a camera? What kind? Help me out please. Thanks

Your iPhone is going to be better than any camera under $200. Buy an external hard drive to keep all the pictures on and charge your phone.

Save up for a better camera. My canon can upload directly to my phone and I can share on all my social media. And can save directly to my camera roll in my phone via Bluetooth.

I use my phone. I have an iPhone 8 Plus but I’ve used my phone as a camera since the iPhone 5 lol. It’s totally worth it to get a better phone with more storage or just sign up for iCloud. I currently have well over 14,000 photos/videos that I can access on my phone. I like cameras but it’s such a hassle trying to mess with the SD cards and transferring photos etc. it’s a huge drain on time for not much better picture quality.

I would save up if I was you. The iPhone takes good pictures but when you print them the quality won’t be as good as it would be with a camera. I have the Nikon D3200. Here are a few pictures I took of my daughter with it.

Save the money for a better phone. You'll want to share pictures, archive them etc. A camara only steals your time.

Excuse my daughter she was being silly! But this was my early Christmas present. It was like 230 at Wal-Mart. It has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and can automatically load to my phone or my laptop (I haven't set either up though) I love it so far! I got it 2 days ago so I really haven't used that much yet. But It has all the same features my Aunys camera has and cost a third of the price.

I wanted to get a good DSLR too, and in the end, decided to upgrade my phone. I have a iPhone 8 Plus, and I’m glad I made that decision. Cameras are heavy to lug around, and you have to have them out and ready to go. Your phone, you can whip out quickly. It’s not ideal—I don’t want my baby’s life documented on a phone camera, but it’s so much easier, especially when you’re sleep deprived and desperate.

I had an iphone 6s before the one i have now. To help save storage space get google pics. You can set it up to automatically back up any photos ypu take and you can remove them from your phone to help save storage space. 😊
