This was never mentioned to me at my IVF consult but my friends said It was mentioned to her.. I’m unexplained infertility and she has PCOS

Yeah, birth control pills were part of my protocol both cycles

O did it so they could better time my stims/egg retrieval/transfer around the holidays. Also helped my body sort of reset for this entire process.

Unexplained secondary infertility here. I was originally told I would not take bc and due to unforeseen circumstances they suggested bc pill for about 5 weeks. It was hard for me but knowing that things will most likely NOT go as planned or discussed is a must.

I was on birth control for my second retrieval, it was part of the protocol and it got us 20 mature eggs. It was the best protocol my body responded to. It made me crazy also but I was only on it for 3 weeks.
