Fixing Botched Hair- How soon can I re-dye?

I naturally have dark brown hair, and went to the salon exactly 2 weeks ago to try a balayage/ombré look. Instead of doing ombré like the picture I showed my stylist, she did orange-ish “highlights” from my ROOTS. I have straight across bangs which were left my dark brown color, and the rest is mostly this streaky orangish hot mess. It looks terrible. I didn’t say anything that day because I tried to give it a chance, but it’s just awful.

My question is, how soon can I re-dye without completely frying my hair? I want to dye it back to dark brown. My hair is in decent shape now and is generally strong, but this look has got. to. go. 🤦🏻‍♀️
