Yeah I personally wouldn't entertain that to be honest. I wouldn't even bother with quotes. If the person didn't care before they're certainly not going to care if you try send some quote.

You need to have a chat with your boyfriend and CALMLY and RESPECTFULLY let him know that you feel neglected when he is constantly on his phone and in order to feel better about that, you need his undivided attention during your quality time together. Definitely don’t expect him to stop you from leaving if he doesn’t even look up from his phone when you’re supposed to be having quality time. If he is not willing to give you the attention and quality time that you need, then there is nothing you can do to control that. All you can do is leave. In my humble opinion, you were watching a movie and focus was on the movie, therefore, he probably felt as though being on his phone wasn’t a big deal. Which probably wouldn’t have been such a big deal for you had he not been on his phone all day long before that.
