When did you start buying your baby stuff?

I have heard over and over that it’s bad luck to start buying baby things when your still in your 1st trimester. I bought a blanket when I first found out and I was shamed for it because of the ‘Bad Luck’

I have been buying things on and off for the past year or so and am only 15 weeks pregnant now. I think I just went about it in a realistic way to help spread out the cost of buying things. If I got to have a baby and use the items then great but if we couldn’t conceive then I had gifts for friends and family and bigger items I could gift to a charity. Go with what feels right for you ☺️

Our baby room has been set up since 15/16 weeks.

Around 20 weeks. I had heaps of time from then to get everything I needed. And I knew the gender so that made buying baby things easier.

I didn’t start buying baby items until I was in second trimester 😋 but other people gifted me baby items in my first trimester which was cute

I got a bassinet and assorted sized clothing that was neutral colors at 4w

I bought a crib, table, lamp and some nursery decorations when I was 8 weeks. 🤷‍♀️ I am now 13 weeks.
