Looking for some insight. My brother-in-law’s childhood friend and her family go to the same church as my husband and I. Today, the childhood friend came up to my husband and asked why his parents don’t go to our church anymore. The reason has to do with our pastor performing our wedding ceremony at home prior to a legal elopement our of state. When we gave her the short version (which wasn’t even her business in the first place), she started to pry, but we cut off the conversation. Now she’s added my husband on Facebook and is asking more about it. I’m a little uncomfortable and irritated that she would do this. Am I being insecure, or is it normal that I’m irritated about this? I don’t feel like she needs that type of information, and I feel weird about her adding my husband suddenly after they’ve known each other for “so long” but never been friends.
