I'm 14 and have very very lumpy breasts and extreme breast pain around my period. The lumps in my breasts get very swollen and large, and my breasts hurt so much I can't even lean on a desk and school. It's been made sure the cystic lumps aren't cancerous, but they do still hurt and are very inconvenient. I've seen a lot of people using birth control to fix this, however I am only 14 and not sexual active. I know you don't have to be sexual active to use birth control, but does anyone know if my doctor would explore that/other options with me because of my age? Does that treatment only work for adults?
