Sperm count dropping after VR??

Hey everyone, feeling discouraged and needing answers. My hubby had a VR in March. First sperm analysis done in August with numbers at 4.5 million. Kept taking the fertility vitamins and just took another SA in December. Numbers came back lower... 2 million. All the doctor said was to keep taking the vitamins and also incorporate 2 Aleve everyday? And new SA in 2 months. I feel so down and hopeless. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice?

If your SO has sperm, I highly recommend storing some, just in case. 💛

It's more common than we think, and can be bc of scar tissue. A lot of ladies on here recommend storing sperm just in case the numbers get down to Zero.
My SO had his VR in Sept, and we saw dead sperm since then and finally moving swimmers on Nov 3rd, but haven't seen ANY scoping since the end of Nov, not even dead/unmoving ones, so my SO may have scar tissue blocking his vas tubes. 😕
We still have hope his swimmers will find a way out, but we know that scar tissue buildup, causing VR failure, is most common within the first 9-12 months.

Probably aleve for inflammation which may constrict the tubes and prevent as many  sperm to flow through. Our dr explained to us that is normal. The big deal is what happens at your next sample and see if there’s a drop or an increase. Good luck!
