My daughter is 4 weeks old, and for the last two weeks or so fights her sleep so much when I put her down. She falls asleep fine on me, but the moment I put her down she will start flailing her arms and legs and grunting. She is not crying, just sounds like she’s complaining. Sometimes she will take the pacifier, but more times than not she’ll just spit it out. She also HATES being swaddled so that’s not really an option.

Anyone have any suggestions? Should I pick her up to soothe her, or do I let her keep fighting? Not really sure what the best thing is...I know she’s not able to self soothe so young 🤷🏻‍♀️
