PREGNANT WITH COOPER IUD ?

Hey I’m on the cooper iud and have been on it a while about 4 months . And this month I hav head sex almost everyday . But now my period is 9 days late . Are there any chances I could be pregnant.. although I don’t want to be pregnant I just wanna know if it’s a possibility?? I heard this was the best birth control..

Very unlikely, the iud is extremely effective. My period was about a week late one time which was very odd, but I always have pregnancy tests i take to give me peace of mind in those situations.

I actually had a similar situation, as well as weight gain, and I was so sure I was pregnant. I went to the doctor and I wasn’t, but I later found out that some hormonal issues caused these problems. Also, it’s a good idea to get your thyroid checked because that can be a major influencer of hormones and cause these exact symptoms. If you’ve increased physical activity or changed your diet, those are also major factors in your hormones. The female body can be very sensitive when it comes to hormones, but it’s different for everyone which makes it difficult to diagnose and treat.
