Worried about ectopic?

Hi I'm 5 weeks and 2 days and am constantly worried about there being problems. My first appointment is not until 8th January when I will be 8 weeks. Does anyone know what the symptoms are for ectopic and when they can appear?

My symptoms appeared around 6 to 8 weeks. Its hard to know how many weeks I was because hcg rises slowly in an ectopic. They thought I was going to miscarry because when I went in to get my hormones tested on a Tuesday my hcg was 6,000 and my progesterone was 1. 
I still tested 48 hours later and my progesterone was 1 still and my hcg rose only 1,000. By the friday I was dizzy. There was pain on my right on my side. (Found out it was my right tube obviously) 
(*i like to think of it as a 90 degree angle from my belly belly button*)
The pain got bad quickly to the point I couldnt sleep on my stomach.
By Monday I was still dizzy and went I to the doctor. I had sholder and neck lain but I was also diagnosed with a mini stroke. Which im honestly glad because I thought I just had a cyst and wouldnt have went into ER. I luckily didnt lose a tube.
So I guess my suggestion would be to get your progesterone tested as well as your hcg two days apart. If your progesterone is not thst low see if you can schedule an ultrasound for "location of pregnancy"
