Gender disappointment ??

I found out a couple days ago that we are expecting our third son. I wanted a little girl SO bad. Don’t get me wrong, I love my baby, but I’m so upset. It makes me want to cry when I think about it. This is most likely going to be our last.. ugh. I feel awful for feeling this way, but I can’t help it.

You are entitled to your own feelings love. Don’t let people put you down because of their own feelings or anything. It’s okay to be disappointed but as long as you love the baby it’s fine. I was a little disappointed with my second baby because I saved the gender until birth and out came out another girl lol but that doesn’t mean I love her any less. She’s my little angel baby 😍😍

I felt the same way when I found out the gender for the pregnancy since this will be our second and last kid. I know it sucks dealing with the disappoinment and guilt for getting it, but it gets better. I've known for weeks now and am finally starting to warm up to having all boys. It helps picturing him playing with my first son and all the fun they'll have together. Definitely not completely devoid of disappointment yet, considering I still have a flicker of hope that I'll find out the gender was wrong when I go to my anatomy scan 😆 But I'm steadily going from disappointed to excited. Don't feel bad for being unhappy with the gender for now, and I'm sure you'll be happy with your little ones in the end either way.

You’re definitely not alone & it’s perfectly natural to have these feelings. I’m 18weeks with our THIRD boy and ooooh I cried for two days straight, not going to lie. I wasn’t sick at all really with my first two boys and this time around I’ve puked daily from 4 to 14 weeks and still puke routinely now so I swore I was getting my girl. My heart absolutely sank when I saw my u/s as this too is our last baby & hubby and I actually conceived this child in the highest hopes of a girl but I guess some of us are meant to be all boy mamas 💙 Give yourself time to heal your heart and mind, and trust me you’ll get excited about him and fall in love more and more. I don’t think I’ll ever get over the sadness of not having a girl, but again I feel that’s natural and I shouldn’t expect to forget those very human feelings of wanting that mother-daughter bond as I am VERY close with my boys. You’ll be okay ☺️

Don't feel bad for feeling disappointed! 
I really wanted a baby boy (I have two girls) so I decided not to find out the gender. I figured if I found out it was a girl, I might be disappointed for a while, but I'd get over it. But if I waited until birth, there's no way I would be disappointed holding my newborn baby. 
I had my 20 week ultrasound last Thursday and they found some concerning things, so now all I want is a healthy baby.

I'm 19 weeks with son #4. This is hubby's first, and we BOTH wanted a little girl more than anything. But we love this little guy anyway, so we're doing everything we can to focus on him being healthy. We aren't having any more kids, though, so it makes his coming sort of bittersweet. No chance for a Daddy's Girl...

I cried in the kids clothing store a few days ago bc I want a girl so badly and we’re having another boy. It’s a real thing. I’m trying to get over it and be excited for my little boy but every time I see a baby girl or any cute frilly clothes I feel angry and sad that I won’t get to be a part of that. I feel you, girl. Girl, I could have written your post. 3rd boy here too and I’ve wanted a girl every single time. I give up! I guess I’m only meant to be a boy mom. I cried for an entire day when I found out but I’m feeling better now. I think I will always be sad I don’t have a daughter but it’s something we can’t control and there isn’t anything we can do about it now. That doesn’t help, but it does. Our only choice is to move forward and try to enjoy our last babies but take time to grieve. It’s ok to feel the way you do. All the boy moms I’ve talked to have been disappointed or sad when it was yet, another boy. The only other thing i can say is you aren’t alone. Know there are other mamas out there just like you and you know you’ll love him the same 🥰. Hugs!

I was CONVINCED I was having another girl this pregnancy. I had all my daughters old clothes brought out and everything. 
When my parents revealed to us we were having a boy my heart sunk. I cried, and not because I was happy. I was so sad. 
I came to the conclusion I was more scared than I was upset about the actual gender since I’ve raised a girl and have no experience with boys. 
Buying boys clothes kind of made me feel better. Now I’m a little more excited to have a little mommas boy in cute clothing.

That makes 2 of us, hun! I’ve been praying for pink since we started trying. Found out today I’m having another boy. I love my baby, but I’m a little indifferent right now. So is my husband, for that matter. Your feelings are valid and normal, and there is nothing wrong with that. We’ll both come around eventually, and once baby is here, I know we’ll be over the moon regardless. Best always!
