Anyone else get called a bitch or rude for their brutal honesty/snark? I just had my first comment deleted because someone got butt hurt about the fact that I called them out.

Funny story about a situation like this. My hubby and I let a friend move into our basement because the lease was up on his apartment. It was only supposed to be temporary and we charged him something like $100/week all utilities included. A lot led up to this interaction (coming home and eating our food, drinking our liquor, multiple instances of getting the dog worked up so that he’d pee on our couch, bringing his band in to practice in our house, etc.) and he had been in our house for 2-3 months at this point. Anyway, manchild brought a futon mattress with him and laid it on the floor for his bed. He’d bring one-night stands home a couple times a week, bang them in the basement, and then kick them out at 4 or 5am hoping we wouldn’t notice. By the time this interaction happened, hubby and I were getting tired of him being in our house.

So, manchild is in our kitchen lamenting to us about how he can’t find a girlfriend and without even thinking about it, I said something to the effect of “Maybe it’s the fact that you sleep on a glorified dog bed that scares them off.” 😂 He was taken aback and asked what I meant, so I spelled it out that he sleeps on a futon mattress on a wooden floor...it’s basically just a giant dog bed. 🤷🏻‍♀️ He left all of his stuff in our basement and slept on his friend’s couch until he found a new place to live months later and then came to pick it all up again.
