My grown scan was at 30 weeks. What now?

Everything was fine at my last growth scan (30 weeks), but now I’m 35 weeks and I’m seeing everyone on this app get their growth scans and I’m curious, what now? Will I get another ultrasound before birth? How will I know the position of the baby because I’m sure he’s flipped/turned by then. If I don’t get anymore ultrasounds, will the doctor start checking my cervix regularly? Or am I just free sailing until I go into labor?

They check babies position by feeling your stomach not sure about checking cervix as it’s not common practice in the UK

My old OB didn’t do US after the growth scan at 20 weeks. If they are concerned about baby being breech they may do an US but they can also feel belly to see. As far as cervical Checks a lot of doctors start around 36ish weeks.

Cervical checks/pelvic exams is how they will determine if the baby is breech or not! 
You probably won’t get another scan 😊 you just got one earlier than most! Mines tomorrow and I’ll be 36 weeks!

I only got another ultrasound due to bleeding and cramping, that’s when we found out she was small.. after that, the only reason I’ve had so many is to check her length and weight because she’s measuring in the 2nd percentile.

I had my last ultrasound at 20 weeks and won't be having a growth scan as there's no concern about babys growth (no diabetes, fundal height is measuring well, BP normal). My OB can tell my baby is breech by feeling my stomach and finding his or her head up by my ribs. She doesn't do cervical checks unless you are in active labour or are showing signs of preterm labour because dilation and effacement don't tell you anything about when labour will actually start so they're not really helpful at all.

In saying that I had an US at 32 weeks and one at 36 on Christmas Eve as they want to be sure bubs isn’t too big
