Peeing before or after sex?

If I were to be before having sex, would that reduce my chance of getting  a uti? I peed after sex but it was only a little bit. Do they have the same benefits?

No. Always pee after. Being before does no good.

Always pee after. It's more to clean the urethra out than anything. Sweat, lube, cum, all things that can get into that area and cause a UTI. Peeing afterwards clears that out and reduces the chances of a UTI. Peeing before has no purpose and doesn't do anything for you.
