Transitioning to bottle

Casey

I have been breastfeeding since day 1. My lactation consultant said to introduce a bottle at 1 month since I would be returning to work after 3 months. I did and my baby did great with it. We were feeding her with a bottle at 1 feeding every other day. Suddenly, she has stopped feeding from the bottle.

I have tried different bottles. I've tried different flow of nipples. I have tried different positions. I have tried having my husband feed her while I leave the room. I have tried feeding her when she is starving. I have tried when she's full.

My husband says to just be patient and she will eat eventually. I go back to work in 2 weeks and I'm worried she won't have started taking the bottle again.

Any advice? Is offering the bottle and letting her play with it at every feeding before eventually breast feeding encouraging her to take the bottle? Or is it just teaching her to hold out from my boob? Should I cut her off from my boob cold turkey?
