My husband and I have been TTC for quite some time now with no luck at all and I have been having a lot of abnormal cycles this year. I recently just switched to a new OBGYN who today diagnosed me with polyps. She is wanting me to have hysteroscopy surgery done which will also include polyp removal, fixing a septum (a wall of tissue that divides the uterus in half which causes infertility or miscarriages), and also a D&C.

Has anyone had this procedure done and can give me some advice on what to expect during and after? I will be put under but it will still be an outpatient surgery. I was told it will be a 3-4 day recovery process externally.
