It gave me bad cramps and heavy bleeding. I had it about a year and switched it for a Mirena. Way better.

I had the paraguard for 5 years. I had heavy periods that lasted for 8 days. It made me have really bad anxiety. When I finally took it out to ttc, its been a tough road. We'vebhad 3 consecutive miscarriages and I do think it has something to do with it.

Very reliable as a contraceptive however it gave me persistent BV 😭 so I’ll be choosing something different after I deliver this time.
