My little brother is 10 years old and in 5th grade. Last week he missed Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday due to the death of my dear grandma who was like my moms bestfriend.

Of course we’ve been sad about it but us kids are mainly staying strong for my mom and keeping her head straight.

Now, it’s 5:55 pm and my little brother, after playing outside, threw an envelope on my bed. I asked what it was and he said open it.

I nearly cried and I can only imagine how my moms going to feel when she gets home in a bit and sees it. 😭

I’ve crossed over some of the kids who put their last names btw.

* We’re so appreciative for my brothers teacher and classmates for taking the time out and showing some support. & personally I would love to give back to them, like a thank you gift or something. Is there anything you think would work? Winter break is almost coming up so I’d like to do something before but it doesn’t matter if it’s afterwards.
