Bacterial vaginosis HELP!

I’m currently 13 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I have BV 🤦🏾‍♀️ I have had recurring bv for years and it’s terrible. Previously I was given metronidazole pills or the gel which after a while stopped working, I managed to get rid of the BV by douching with perioxide and water and it went away for a few years. A month before I got pregnant I got it again 🙄 and I told my new doc the metro wasn’t working anymore so she gave me Tindimax and it literally started working the next day. However, I am now pregnant and I have gotten it again and after researching, timdimax is not to be taken in the first trimester because it causes miscarriages so I waited until my 2 trimester since there is less of a risk but I’m so terrified of a miscarriage due to this medicine that I don’t want to take it but I also know bv can cause preterm births. So I’m asking if anyone has tried this medicine while pregnant or have any other remedies that worked for them? I recently got married and it would be devastating to have a miscarriage 😭 if anyone has had bv you know it literally interrupts everyday life.
