Round ligament pain

Is anyone else having round ligament pain? I have my 12 week ultrasound on Friday and am super anxious to see if everything is ok. I have been having a sharp pain on the left side of my uterus that comes and goes and I’ve had it for the past two days. I called my doctor today and she asked me a list of questions. After talking with her for awhile she said it sounded like I have round ligament pain which she said is common during pregnancy. This is my first pregnancy so I just don’t know what’s normal pain and what’s not. I am not super concerned about it but concerned enough to wonder! The sharp pain is my only symptom and I’d describe pain level a 4 on a scale of 1-10. No spotting, no bleeding, no fever or dizziness.
