Am I crazy for wanting to show off my bump?

So this is my first pregnancy ever. I am very petite and almost 6 months pregnant and seriously dont look as big as I am. Call me crazy but I wouldnt mind a big ol bump just because im girly and love this experience. Lil bump and all I love my baby girl. Of course im thankful I dont have to really buy maternity clothes and all that jazz but yesterday I finally got my first experience of someone asking if i was pregnant or not and of course I proudly said yes im 6 months! For some crazy reason it made my day and I went to share my great news like I am now and I got a lot of negative feedback. Of course my significant other doesn’t understand why I was excited hes just happy that I am and even makes dramatic jokes about my bump to make me smile. Now I ask you ladies is it bad that I want to show off what little of a bump I have? To be asked how far along I am? Thoughts?
