9 week old sleeping schedule?

Does your baby get up in the morning and then go back to sleep for a nap like an hour after? I feel like he sleeps so much! I know he's growing etc but not sure if this just totally normal to go back to sleep again so soon after waking up. He barely even ate too, like snacked (he doesn't sleep through the night yet so he's eaten about 4 hours prior) then when back to sleep. I have his 2 month appt today.. definitely going to ask about it but wanted your opinions on your babes!

My son will usually sleep an 8 hour stretch at night (usually 830pm-430am) and then up to eat for 30 min and then back to sleep till 8am. This morning he ate again at 830 and by 930 was falling asleep in my arms.

Mine is almost 8 weeks and does this every morning. Wakes about 7am, feeds, plays a little and is usually asleep from 8:30-9:30am.

My girls best nap is about 45 minutes to an hour after waking, completely normal. I have two other friends who have babies about the same age and their kiddos do the same!

My daughter differs from day to day.  Some days she'll sleep right away others she'll be up but eventually fall asleep.  Today she fell asleep but woke up the moment I put her down.  She sleeps through the night though.

Yep! Every morning she wakes up for about an hour then goes back down for her longest nap of the day like 2 hours 😁

My little girl is 9 weeks and only sleeps about 3 hour stretch at night before she wakes eats and goes back to sleep for about 2-3 hours. Wakes up and plays for about an hour the eats and back to sleep for a nap in the mornings. So it seems normal. Idk how these other babies are sleeping through the night, happy for them ☺️ but we are not there yet!

Yep! My daughter sleeps 6-8 hours at night then wakes up around 8 and hangs out for about an hour than usually takes her longest nap of the day. Typically she’ll sleep 2-3 hours first thing in the morning.

Yea that’s totally normal. At this early age they should only be awake for 1 hr roughly each time!!

My girl is ten weeks old and is starting to sleep 9+ hours throughout the night. I actually wake her sometimes just so she eats. She’ll most of the time take down 6ozs and then fall back asleep for another 3-4 hours before I wake her again. Then she’ll be up for a couple hours playing before she takes a whole 20 min nap lol
