39 weeks today/ brownish discharge

I got my cervix checked out today, and I'm still at 1cm. I've been stuck at 1cm for 3 weeks now. After my appointment today, I had a few contractions and I went to go pee. When I wiped, there was brown discharge in my pad. What is this? Sorry for the tmi..
