My parents always bought soda growing up to the point that my brother preferred it over water. So I’d rather expose my children to more juices or smoothies but don’t get me wrong, they can have soda. It’ll just be limited and not as accessible

My kids are 5 & 3 and we still don’t do any soda. I just find it unnecessary and it’s really bad for you as an adult so why get our babies hooked on it.

I will not be giving it to my daughter . I don’t drink that junk it’s all sugar nothing nutritious! I only drink water, tea, coffee and very occasional make my own juice. I’ll be making homemade juice for her but still that should not be consumed often. Once u remove the Skin with all the fiber, the sugar is absorbed much faster and spikes ur insulin. Eating a fruit with its skin is completely different bc the fiber slows the absorption of the sugar !

Will I have not but he only 17 months old. I don’t plan on giving his soda. Mostly because I try not to drink it. But I’m sure he will have it at some point

People on here say pure sugar!!! Unless your kid only drinks water then I wouldn’t say anything, apple juice lemon aid or all other juices that you give your kid also have a lot of sugar just saying. So unless you water your kids juice down I wouldn’t really be like ohhh no all sugar because the difference is very slight

Special events only and only sprite or Sierra Mist for my 3 and 4 year old. Otherwise they drink water, lemon aid, and apple juice. We even limit the apple juice.

Nope my kids drink only water, and when we go out to eat they get to be treated to lemonade, juice, or tea, I love that they only drink water, if you never give them juice or stuff of that nature in the beginning they dont even know it exists
