Mamas HELP

So my son is 4 months old and since he’s been born, his eyelids will go puffy and red. His eyes also water as well. I tried to look it up and it’s telling me that it’s pink eye. Although I’m certain that it’s not because it’ll go away either after a couple of hours or after he has a nap. Has anyone else experienced this or know what this is? My husband and my mom think it’s allergies. I had his 4 month check up and totally slipped my mind to ask about it, and since the holidays are coming up it’s too hectic to actually go back. It doesn’t bother him because he’s not irritated or anything when it happens .. it’s more so I’m worried.
