Can you feel anything at 8 weeks?

I keep feeling a fluttering feeling almost like a muscle spasm type feeling. My MIL thinks it’s the baby moving but isn’t it too early to feel movement?

i feel flutters since about 9 weeks. i’m currently 10. I read about other women feeling the same as early as 8 weeks. basically they were saying that everyone is different and people often just say it’s gas, or you’re just imagining. but they believe no. trust your body.  I agree with them because i always feel the flutters on the side where my baby always is during the ultrasound & i always feel the flutters everytime i get into a “debate” with my child’s father.
