Plug?

So I’ll be 33+6 tomorrow which is the gestation my dd was born at. I was checked today and was 2cm 70% effaced and -2 station. My ob said she would consider anything after tomorrow a bonus. I thought it could be normal to be this dilated? Also I had this tonight is it my plug or just because I was checked today?

Definitely mucus plug. In my opinion (my opinion because everyone is different and has different views) I’d say it’s because you were checked today as that happened to me with my last but given your history I can’t be too sure. For my son, I was checked and given a membrane sweep and I ended up losing my mucus plug over two days. That was my first membrane sweep. I had to have one more sweep a week later and that one actually started my labor for me.

Yes it looks like the mucus plug. I lost mine 2 or 3 times during this pregnancy. It gets rebuilt every time don't worry. You only have to worry if there is blood
