Anyone Else Putting Off The First Appointment?

I have had 2 miscarriages, the first at 19 weeks and the second at 8 weeks. The second one cost us a few thousand even though we only saw the doctor a few times and I miscarried at home.

I am now almost 6 weeks and dreading going to the doctor. With the first, I didn't know I was pregnant until 12-13 weeks, so I am debating waiting until the beginning of February (10 weeks), to see the OB. Kind of thinking that at least if I miscarry again, it will be at home and cost us nothing. I am taking care of myself and honestly, the first few appointments have always been sort of orientation things rather than any actual checking.

Anyone else dreading seeing the doctor? Any reason I shouldn't wait?
