A little background: My husband is Markus with a K and he's very proud of his unique spelling. He introduces himself as "Markus with a K" everywhere we go lol. He named our 1st son Markus Jr. I named our 2nd son Micah. He wanted it to be Mykah so that it would have a K instead of a C. But I wanted it to be spelled the Bible way. Malachi is also a Bible name. And it's for sure the name we are going with. But I actually like "Malakai" too. And we would definitely call him Kai as a nickname so I feel like that spelling supports that nn more. And then my husband gets his M K theme. Oh, and our last name starts with a K. So I'm torn. I like both. I like Malachi because it's the traditional Bible spelling. And I like Malakai because its different, it has a K, my husband prefers it, and we could call him Kai. But then poor little Micah is the odd one out with the C lol.
