Twins with one frozen embryo?!

Hi ! I would like t know if is possible to have twins with one frozen embryo transfer! My doctor only is transferring one embryo and i really want two, but that is not an option😞.., so i want to know if anyone have had twins with one frozen embryo

1% chance that the embryo will split and make identical twins. Your doctor is doing what’s safest for you and your future children by only transferring one though so don’t be upset

We did a frozen transfer with one embryo and it split! We were told the chances if it splitting was  0.8%. Our sweet girls are nine months! Good luck with everything!

From my research, if you have assisted hatching done prior to transfer you actually have a 35-40% chance of identical twins which is why they dont put 2 because there is still a high risk it will turn into 4.

My RE told me 1% chance but I know a couple women on Instagram that put in one and they split.

It is possible for eggs to split - that’s how you get identical twins.   Many doctors will not transfer 2 because then the risk of triplets or more increases.

I was told 1% as well. So far I've gotten as many out as I put in. Singleton is my strong preference after experiencing both. I loved being low risk and normal after everything was said and done. 
The thing with twins from splitting vs. Twins from 2 embryos is that identical twins are usually much higher risk, they often share a placenta, and sometimes a sack too, and the risk of one killing the other by taking its blood supply, or cord entanglement is real. It's harder to get them to term, which means more NICU time and risks of prematurity as well. So I've always been relieved when they didn't split.
