I’m 38 weeks and 2 days pregnant with my second child, another baby girl. It has been one wild ride. First, an anterior placenta and then a failed glucose test (I passed the three hour though), contractions two weeks ago that ended up being some pretty wicked false labor. And now baby girl is measuring on the large side so today I get a second ultrasound to check the size. But on Sunday I noticed a glob of eggshell white type discharge.. not too large but a dime size, nothing yesterday, and again today a larger glob. So I feel like I might be starting to lose my mucus plug. Five years ago with my first I just lost the whole thing and it was like a giant snot with blood and went straight into labor. Yesterday I had an appointment and she checked to see if the cervix was opened and she said it was closed but really really wanted to open. I’m hoping the time is sooner rather than later.
